In recognition of October being Pitbull Awareness Month, Memphis Pets Alive! invites you to attend a ONE-NIGHT-ONLY viewing of "Beyond the Myth" with special guest, Libby Sherrill - creator and executive producer of this film.
Beyond the Myth is a film about pit bulls and those who love and defend the breed, explores the contributing factors behind the publics generalized fear of pit bulls and examines the conflict existing between advocates and opponents of Breed Specific Legislation.
In a city that is filled with thousands of pitbulls and "pitbull like" dogs we challenge you to bring someone that still has doubts or reservations about this incredible breed - come out and learn (or affirm) how misaligned and utterly amazing these dogs are. Educate, don't discriminate.
